1. Who we are

Totalview Studio provides Radio Worlds, a radio listening app for Meta Quest. This policy describes how information is handled by the app, this website, and our support communications. Contact us at hello@totalviewmedia360.com with privacy questions or requests.

2. Information used on your headset

The app stores your favorite stations locally on your headset, including station identifiers, names, stream addresses, and related station information. Playback selections and controls are used to operate the current listening session. We do not operate a developer-hosted listening-history or favorites database for the current app.

Headset and controller input, and hand-tracking input where available, are used through the Meta runtime to support interaction in VR. Radio Worlds does not upload this input to a developer-operated server. Audio-reactive visuals are calculated from playback audio on the device; the app does not request microphone or precise-location permission.

Local diagnostic logs may include station identifiers and names, stream host names, playback errors, and access-check results. The app does not automatically send these logs to Totalview Studio. If you choose to share logs or screenshots with us for support, we receive the information they contain.

3. Connections needed for live radio

Station directory: Radio Worlds requests country and station listings from Radio Browser API servers. These servers receive your IP address, the requested information (such as the selected country), and technical request information including the app’s user-agent string. See Radio Browser for information about the service.

Radio streams: When you play a station, your headset connects to the broadcaster or its streaming providers. Those providers receive your IP address and technical connection information and can observe requests for the stream, including when connections start and stop. They may use IP addresses to estimate your general location or supply regional advertisements. Their processing, retention, content, and advertisements are governed by their own practices and policies. Radio Worlds does not control them.

Meta services: The app uses Meta’s platform services to check whether your account is entitled to access Radio Worlds. The app uses the access-check result to allow or deny playback. Meta also processes information as part of operating your account, headset, platform, and app distribution under its own policies. See Meta’s privacy policy.

Information sent to these services may be processed in countries other than where you live. The app uses HTTPS connections for its directory and supported radio streams.

4. Website visits and support

This website does not use analytics scripts, advertising trackers, forms, or site-set cookies. Our web hosting provider may process ordinary server access logs, including IP addresses, requested pages, browser information, and request times, to deliver and secure the site.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any information or attachments you send. We use these to respond to you, investigate issues, and handle privacy requests. Our email and hosting providers process information to provide their services.

5. How information is used and shared

Information is used to provide playback and VR interaction, remember favorites, verify access, provide support, and maintain security. Totalview Studio does not sell your personal information or use app data for targeted advertising. Broadcasters may independently include advertisements in their streams.

We may share information you provide for support with service providers when needed to resolve your request, or disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights and security. We do not share your locally stored favorites with a developer-operated backend.

6. Retention and deletion

You can remove favorites in the app. Clearing the app’s local data or uninstalling it removes its local saved data from that installation. Local system diagnostic logs are managed by the device operating system.

Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to respond, resolve related issues, or meet legal obligations. Hosting and email providers may retain operational logs and backups under their own retention schedules. Radio Browser, radio providers, and Meta control the retention of information they receive directly.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

You can stop a stream to stop further playback requests and choose which stations to connect to. Use your headset and Meta account settings to manage available platform privacy controls.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, or receive a copy of it. Email hello@totalviewmedia360.com with the subject “Radio Worlds privacy request” to exercise applicable rights or ask for deletion of information you have shared with us. We may request enough information to verify and fulfill the request. For data held independently by Meta or a broadcaster, contact that provider. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

8. Children

Radio Worlds is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through support communications. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us so we can address it. Use of the app is also subject to Meta’s applicable age and account requirements.

9. Security and changes

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, but no service can guarantee absolute security. We will update this policy when our practices change and revise the date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or its listing where appropriate.
